✦ The Emotion Behind The Code ✦
I'm unlike any other researcher you'll ever meet. Here's why.
I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering with a love for building neuroadaptive systems that help neurodivergent brains thrive. I approach research with curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and a collaborative mindset.
I started my research journey as a bioengineer, mainly focused on molecular biology and hardcore lab work. Until I grew super tired of it and got rid of this "bio" in "bioengineering", and decided to try my luck in engineering — extreme transformation and alteration in my career, yes, but an incredibly rewarding one!
Beyond the technical aspects, my own neurodivergent perspective shapes the questions I ask, the problems I notice, and the solutions I pursue. I love connecting dots across disciplines: AI, neuroscience, psychology, ethics, and building systems that are as human-aware as they are technically robust.
"Being neurodivergent myself, the idea of having no community or ways to get support, just because my brain operates a bit differently — I have endeavored myself to the greatest adventure and quest of my life: create the community through academic research."
✦ The Origin Story ✦
Started in molecular biology, doing hardcore lab work. Graduated with BSc in Bioengineering, studying Experimental Techniques in Molecular Biology.
Got tired of the "bio" part. Dropped the lab coat, picked up the keyboard. Fell in love with engineering (despite all the math and suffering!).
MSc in Applied AI in Biomedical Engineering. Built AIDAN: an intelligent system analyzing EEG/ECG via 3D LSTM. Published THREE papers about it!
PhD focused on non-invasive neuroadaptive systems for neurodivergent individuals. Fighting for my community through research.
✦ My Neurodivergent Journey ✦
I have AuDHD — which means my brain runs on two operating systems. The discovery of that state came right before my PhD enrollment.
Craves order, patterns, deep focus, and systematic thinking
Thrives in chaos, novelty, hyperfocus bursts, and creative leaps
My PhD research has evolved toward designing non-invasive neuroadaptive systems for neurodivergent individuals, focusing especially on ADHD and autism. I'm fascinated by how biosignals can inform interventions that improve attention, emotional regulation, and overall cognitive wellbeing.
"Mind that desires order but rejoices in chaos never settles for mediocrity." 💖
✦ What I Do ✦
Biomedical Engineering and System Design
They said pick one path. My ADHD said 'why not both?' My autism made a spreadsheet for it. Now, I'm learning AND designing non-invasive neuroadaptive systems for neurodivergent individuals at the same time. Focus on ADHD, autism, attention, emotional regulation, and cognitive wellbeing.
Counting Scientific Publications
Self-driven research combining AI, neuroscience, psychology, and ethics. Creator of AIDAN — 3D LSTM system for multimodal EEG/ECG analysis.
WeWomEngineers
Leading the #NeurodivergentInSTEM campaign. Featured as their first international interview! Supporting young researchers and women in STEM globally.
Protector of the unloved
My tarantulas are named after stars: Sirius, Alhena, Atilla, and Regulus. 🌟 Rescued from poachers, studied for science, loved unconditionally (going on for 6 years!). I have done my Bachelor's thesis on non-invasive DNA isolation from tarantula exoskeleton.
Community Builder
Creating community through academic research for those with no support system because their brains work differently.
Scientific Event Coordinator
Part event architect at EAMBES, part inclusion warrior for WWE's DEI committee; because science should have room for everyone. ✦

✦ When I'm Not Engineering ✦
For fun! Because why not add more skills to the collection?
Security is fascinating. Breaking things (legally) to learn how to fix them.
(Very poorly.) But it's about the journey, not the checkmate... right?
Learning new things is my ultimate passion.
Exchange ideas. Inspire everyone around you and never stop learning, because knowledge is power and curiosity is the fuel for innovation.
